The hotel has a total of 59 rooms. The atmosphere is quiet and smart. There is a family atmosphere between the staff and the guests. It is a modern hotel, and was opened in September 2000. There are two conference rooms, one cafeteria and one buffet breakfast. Of course, the hotel has all the required technology for the comfort of the business guests, internet access and ISDN lines etc. The main characteristic of the hotel is that it is the first themed hotel in Madrid. The hotel is decorated in the style of a Spanish writer from the XVII century called Lope De Vega, as well as the history context. Each of the 59 rooms has a name of a play writer, place or play of theatre from Spain's Golden Age of literature. The hotel has an exclusive collection of etchings which give the rooms their names, for example Ceruantes - room 105, Plaza Mayor - room 306, Velazquez - room 406, Shakespeare - room 507 or the King Felipe IV - room 604.
